A pond is an atmosphere-enhancing element not to be missed in an outdoor space. Moreover, a pond provides additional decentralised water storage of rainwater in the project and thus increases the climate-adaptive effect of an outdoor space. Thanks to the evaporation of water, it will have a cooling effect. When designing and realising a pond or water feature, the basic principles are always formulated, the wishes are mapped out and the degree of maintenance is determined in advance. After all, it is important for a filter system and ultimately for water quality what a pond will ultimately look like: such as the presence of aquatic plants and/or (koi) fish, but also the location of the pond are decisive factors.

Natural pond

The natural pond, as the name suggests, has a natural look and increases the biodiversity of the outdoor space. A natural pond attracts life. Birds come to drink and bathe. Frogs, toads and salamanders find a home there for the summer and reproduce in it. All kinds of aquatic insects soon find their way to the water feature. Several opportunities are provided for variation in aquatic plant species. Think of all kinds of aquatic plants and those that like to grow along banks.

Mirror pond

A mirror pond increases optical space by reflecting the surroundings. Combined with the clean lines of a building, for example, the mirror pond enhances the overall look and presentation.

Filter system

Without a filter system, a clear water feature is a very laborious affair. The filter system filters and disinfects pond water from algae, other organic dirt and bacteria.
